Geneva County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested three people over the past week in two separate meth lab investigations.
Narcotics Investigator Annie Henderson Ward said deputies arrested Christopher Weeks, 27, of Geneva, and Kara Chase, 31, of Samson, and charged them both with felony second-degree manufacturing a controlled substance.
Ward said the couple was charged late Friday night with running a meth lab under a river bridge near Samson on Alabama Highway 87.
In an unrelated case, Ward said deputies also arrested Larry Williford, 40, of Slocomb and charged him with felony second-degree unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of precursor chemicals.
Ward said deputies found a meth lab earlier last week at Williford’s home on North Geneva County Road 49.
