Mr. Charles Walker, age 84 of Andalusia passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 in the Andalusia hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Gantt Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Walker, Rev. Carl Douglas and Rev. Wayne Sharpe will officiate. Special music will be provided by granddaughter, Annie Vidich and members of the River Falls & Gantt Baptist Church Choirs. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Fairmount Baptist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Walker, his parents, Gilmer Thomas & Lena Margaret Walker, a sister, Operea Mitchell, brothers, James Walker, Hayward Walker and grandson, Charles Boyd Walker.
