At 11:17 am Monday morning Emergency personnel were dispatched to a one vehicle accident on Hwy 84 just East of Page Rd in the Sanford Jurisdiction. It is reported that there was one person in the vehicle at the time of the wreck and he was transported to Andalusia Hospital with injuries by Advance EMS. The wreck blocked the outside Eastbound lane while emergency crews worked to remove the victim and transport to the hospital. The lane was reopened once the vehicle was removed and the roadway cleaned up. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time. Alabama State Troopers are investigating. Sanford Fire Department, Andalusia Fire Department, Covington County Sheriffs Office, Andalusia Police Department, Advance EMS and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene. The condition of the Injured Driver is unknown at this time.
