MOBILE, Alabama -- A 20-year-old Mobile man remains in Mobile County Metro Jail facing a burglary charge after he and two others barged into a residence earlier this week, Cpl. Christopher Levy, Mobile police spokesman, said today.
Andrew Terrill Williams was arrested Tuesday -- his 20th birthday -- and charged with first-degree burglary. He remains in the jail without bail, jail records indicate.
Police were called at 7:45 p.m. Monday to the 1600 block of Sumner Drive. The victims told police that a man identified as Williams knocked on the door asking to be given a ride. The person who answered the door agreed and asked the man to come in and wait.
