Mrs. Lila Mae Casey, age 85 of Andalusia died on Sunday, May 5, 2013 in a Pensacola hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Casey will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 2pm from the Foreman Funeral Home chapel. Minister Eddie Boggess will officiate. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mrs. Casey is survived by her two daughters, Deborah (Donnell) Grantham of Andalusia and Karen Jackson of Prattville; her two sons, Parker (Toni) Casey of Brewton and Rick Casey of Pace, Fla.; five grandchildren, Dawn Grantham, Sabrina Crutchfield, Danielle Haiden, Bridget Casey and Ben Jackson; two great grandchildren, Lexie Grantham and Riley Crutchdield; two brothers, Glenn Steele and Clyde ( Jean) Steele of Mobile and two sisters, Jan Sowell and Margaret Janis also both of Mobile.
Mrs. Casey was preceded in death by her husband Roman Casey and her grandson Casey Grantham.
Pallbearers will be Chris Collum, Dustin Yuhasz, Matt Crutchfield, Wayne Grantham, Donald Knox and Jimmy Bass.
The body will lie in state from 6pm Tuesday at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Melisa “Missy” Bullock, age 42 of Loango, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday at Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. Dennis Knowles will officiate. Special music will be provided by Randy Walden and Burnice Bullock. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Keahey Funeral Home.

Mr. William T. Bishop, 63, of Red Level, passed away Monday April 29, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. John H. Stuart, 85, of Andalusia, passed away Monday April 29, 2013 in the Andalusia Hospital.
He was born April 18, 1928, the son of Johnnie J. and Hattie Cross Stuart and served his country during World War II in the United States Navy.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday May 1, 2013 from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann Stuart and Skip Kirk of Andalusia and Teresa Stuart and Randy Hutcheson of Birmingham; his sons and daughter-in-law, Donald H. Stuart of Thornton, CO and Paul R. and Ticia Stuart of Andalusia; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Langston of Crestview, FL.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nell Stuart; a daughter-in-law, Rosemary Stuart; a grandson, Ruri Stuart; a brother, James Edward Stuart.

Mr. James Fredrick "Fred" Mikel, age 87 of Andalusia passed away
Thursday, April 25,2013 in the Andalusia hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Cold Water
Congregational Church. The family will receive friends at the church
one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow in the Ables
Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Rex Arnold Powell, 82, of Andalusia, passed away Saturday April 27, 2013 at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 AM Monday April 29th at Macedonia Cemetery in Rose Hill with Rev. Jimmy Aaron officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 3:30 – 6 PM Sunday at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Powell of Andalusia; his son and daughter-in-law, Reggy and Cynthia Powell of Andalusia; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Frankie McVay of Andalusia; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Lib and Cyril Maynard of Tallahassee, FL Loretta and Roger Beckstrom of LaCross, WI; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Clyde and Fern Powell, Jr. of Dothan, AL, Maurice and Barbara Ann Powell of Montgomery, and Larry and Sarah Powell of Pensacola, FL.

Mr. Jamie Arron Smith, 29, of Wing, AL, passed away Sunday April 21, 2013.
Jamie was born in Brewton, AL on May 31, 1983 to Betty and Jay Smith of Evergreen, AL. He graduated from Sparta Academy in 2001. He served in the Marine Corps during the Iraq War. After discharge, he attended Alabama Southern Community College and transferred to the Radiology program at Trenholm State College where he graduated on May 6, 2011 with honors. He was employed with Andalusia Regional Hospital and L. V. Stabler Memorial Hospital in Greenville, AL in the Radiology dept.
Survivors include his parents, Betty and Jay Smith of Evergreen; grandmother, Burnette Smith of Wing; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins whom he loved so very much.
He is preceded in death by grandmother, Myrtle Rose McCraney of Evergreen, and grandfather (Paw-Paw), E. J. Smith of Wing, AL.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Friday April 26th from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Shepard officiating, burial will follow in Wing Cemetery with military honors to be conducted at graveside. Special music will be by Erica Chonteau Hawsey.
Pallbearers will be Josh McCraney, Scotty McCraney, Chris Mitchell, Jimmy Hyde, Jason Booker, Justin Booker.

Mr. Jason Scott Grace, 26, of Andalusia, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Evergreen, AL.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday April 15th from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Cotter officiating, interment will be in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 PM Sunday, April 14th, 2013 at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mr. John Carson “J.C.” Brooks, 92, of Andalusia, passed away Tuesday April 9, 2013 in Pace, FL.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday April 12th from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Sharpe officiating, interment will be in Stone Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Stan Sumrall of Pace, FL; and two grandsons, Jason Adams and Lucas Adams, both of Pace, FL.
He is predeceased by his wife, Ila Mae Brooks.

Mr. Leamon Hurst, age 74 of Andalusia passed away April 13, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday at Mt. Pisgah Church of God. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at Keahey Funeral Home.
Rev. Billy Boles will officiate.

Mr. James “Jamie” Curry age, 47 of Andalusia passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at his residence.
Memorial service will be held 10 am., Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Derwood Cleland will officiate.

March 31, 2013 in a local nursing home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery in Florala. Keahey Funeral Home directing.
